A personal service
The firm was established by Vicky Evans (Chartered Tax Advisor and Trusts and Estates Practitioner) in March 2008, and the practice is based on Hayling Island, Hampshire.
Babcocks is a friendly, innovative, client-focused practice dealing with all aspects of accountancy, taxation and proactive business-related services.
Vicky has been working in the tax and accountancy world since the mid-1990s and specialises in tax, probate, and trusts. She opened her own tax and accountancy practice in 2008 and enjoys acting for small owner managed businesses, being ably supported by consultants who assist her with accounts preparation. Tax is an ever-changing world and is always a challenge which Vicky enjoys. She likes to be involved with her client’s and their journey through life, be that through annual tax return preparation, solving tax planning issues and dealing with inheritance tax and probate.
Vicky has Reserved Legal Status through the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) which means that her firm can deal with all probate work, including filing the grant application for estates.
Outside of work, Vicky is a Minister in the Church of England, plays walking netball and is an avid Gym bunny! Keeping fit and healthy is important to her.
As Practice Manager here at Babcocks, Hazel manages the day-to-day running of the practice, supporting both our clients and team to ensure everything operates smoothly. Hazel takes pride in providing excellent client service and building strong relationships with our clients, to create a professional, welcoming environment.
Outside of work, Hazel loves spending time with her family, especially her growing brood of Grandchildren. Hazel has also always had a passion for horses and enjoys keeping fit at the gym.
